What are Affiliate Partnerships?
Affiliate partnerships allow organizations without their own administrative infrastructure to benefit from La Crosse Area Community Foundation’s experience, tools, and stewardship. Through these partnerships, LACF provides fund management, operational support, and philanthropic guidance—so community-led initiatives can focus their time and energy on mission and local impact.
Affiliate partnerships are one way we help expand charitable giving, strengthen social capital, and elevate causes across La Crosse County and beyond.
Affiliate Partnership with LACF
La Crosse Area Community Foundation currently affiliates with three organizations: LCNI (La Crosse Community Nonprofits Initiative), Rotary Works Foundation, and the Onalaska Education Foundation. Each partnership strengthens local philanthropy by connecting community-led initiatives with LACF’s administrative support, investment management, and philanthropic expertise.
How to Become an Affiliate
Organizations interested in becoming an affiliate partner should have:
A charitable mission aligned with community benefit
Local leadership committed to stewarding philanthropic resources
A desire for administrative, investment, or operational support
Long-term goals that would benefit from LACF’s infrastructure and guidance
The process typically begins with a conversation, followed by a review of your mission and needs, and the development of a partnership structure that supports transparency, sustainability, and strong community governance.
