Skills desired in a board member (detail):

Next Steps for Change is seeking passionate, committed individuals to join our Board of Directors as we continue to grow and evolve. Our founding board has laid a strong foundation, and now we’re looking for new leaders to help take our mission to the next level.

We’re in an exciting phase of development—transitioning from a working board to a governing board—and we’re gearing up for our very first fundraiser this fall. It’s a great time to get involved and make a lasting impact.

Do you have experience in board governance, human resources, marketing, or fundraising? We’d love to talk with you!

We’re also looking for someone to join our Executive Committee as Board Secretary. This is a vital leadership role for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and excited to support the board’s operations and communications as we grow.

We especially welcome individuals who are in long-term recovery, as well as allies who understand the impact of addiction on individuals, and families.
