The Safe-Cam Project fund was established by La Crosse City Vision Foundation and the La Crosse Police Department to accept contributions in support of purchasing safety cameras and installing them in the city of La Crosse. Public safety, especially along the riverfront, is the main objective of this project.
“The “Safe-Cam” Project has been instrumental in helping solve countless crimes—ranging from minor property damage to serious offenses, including homicides. These cameras serve as a critical layer of security, enhancing the La Crosse Police Department’s ability to protect the community and fulfill its mission of creating a safe and vibrant city for all.”
