The mission of ATP is to promote greater consciousness around social justice, diversity, and climate issues. Using the stage as their forum, the students creatively challenge systems of privilege and oppression and strive to plant seeds of social responsibility, inspire critical thought, and spark a community-wide conversation.

The performances will take place in the Bluffs Room of the Student Union at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse on Sunday, September 1 at 1:00, 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. and Monday, September 9 at 7:00 p.m.

We are excited about the potential of this program to encourage our collective community’s willingness to:

Recognize privileged and marginalized social identities and how they shape our everyday experiences
Engage in critical thinking, critical feeling, and critical conversations
Take a stance against hate/bias, unhealthy behaviors, divisive attitudes, and unjust situations
