La Crosse Area Community Foundation has welcomed Keli Frigo as its new impact specialist. She succeeds Ellen Heydon, who recently transitioned to a new professional opportunity.

Frigo brings nearly two decades of experience in communications, alumni engagement, and client management to her new role. Most recently, she served as an account manager with Vendi Advertising, where she developed strong client relationships and guided strategic marketing and communications initiatives. Prior to that, she spent 16 years as assistant director of the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse Alumni Association, where she coordinated events, built relationships with donors and alumni, and advanced the university’s mission through storytelling and outreach.

At LACF, Frigo will assist nonprofit organizations throughout the region with competitive grant applications, helping them access resources to strengthen their programs and expand community impact.

“Keli’s deep roots in La Crosse and her extensive experience working with nonprofits, donors, and community partners make her an outstanding addition to our team,” said Chad Dull, CEO of LACF. “Her ability to connect people and ideas aligns perfectly with our work to help create a thriving and connected community.”

In addition to her professional background, Frigo has a long history of community involvement, including service with the Valley View Rotary and Rotary Works Foundation Board. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications technologies management from the University of Wisconsin–Platteville.
